According to Sunday Mirror, and SKY NEWS troubled singer Amy Winehouse has been confirmed dead. Amy died of overdose in her North London home.
 As a HUGE winehouse fan my heart literally broke when i heard the news. Those who had the pleasure of meeting her know just how BEAUTIFUL AND KIND she was inside and out.

Truth about 50 Cent paying $4million to release MAX B

Recently heard a story about 50 cent paying $4 million 2 release rapper MAX B from jail, my first thought was ''wtf?..he has money to spare'', if 50 cent throwing money round like that he might aswell throw me a lil something towards  my university fees :|.
After some research turns out the rumour was false and a result of miscommunication

Earlier today hip-hop producer Dame Grease sent out a tweet and sent waves through the rap world: “@50cent Got 4 million for Max to come out! Mite Be Some Hi-Powered 2Pac sh-- bout to pop off!” But in an interview with MTV News, Grease said that he meant no harm with his social networking blurb. “It was just me twit-talking and sh--, but it kinda got taken all out of context,” he cleared up.

Max B, who is currently in prison serving a 75-year sentence after he was convicted of manslaughter and a host of other charges is hoping to see his conviction overturned in an appeal. So when Grease dropped the message the rumor mill began to spin making it seems as if the producer and the G-Unit general actually had a conversation about the matter. “Me and 50 cent never talked about anything,” he said.

Instead, Grease who is most known for produced the majority of DMX’s multiplatinum debut It’s Dark and Hell is Hot said he was just thinking (or tweeting) out loud, speculating that if 50 could bail Max out of jail it would be similar to when Suge Knight sprung Tupac from the clink in 1995.

DJ Next, who heads Amalgam Digital, the label where Max B is signed told MTV News that he spoke to Biggavelli this morning and that Max was unaware of any moves being made by Fif. “I spoke with him this morning, Max has no knowledge of it,” Next said. "If 50 is indeed interested in putting some money up behind Max’s legal situation I think that’d be a great thing. But right now Max doesn’t know anything about it.” - MTV & Rob Markman

NICKI MINAJ ATTACK INCIDENT REPORT RELEASED - CONFIRMS MINAJ WAS LYING

TMZ (god they're good!) have released copies of the incident report of the 'alleged' domestic dispute/attack involving nicki minaj and 'allegedly' SB her sidekick/hypeman/righthandman/bestfriend/'boyfriend'.
Now what shocked me MORE was the fact the it states Minaj is 28 meaning she LIED about her age being 26.... :| She is damn near 30? really nicki...really? I actually liked the girl but her lies and contradictions are becoming too much for me to take her seriously as a respectable artist.

A former Rwandan minister has been jailed for life for genocide and incitement to rape at the United Nations-backed court for Rwanda in Tanzania. Pauline Nyiramasuhuko, who is the only women to be convicted by the court, was minister for family and women’s affairs in the Rwandan government when some 800,000 people, mainly ethnic Tutsis, were killed in 1994.

She was accused of direct and public incitement to commit genocide and of being responsible for rape “as part of a widespread and systematic attack against a civilian population on political, ethnic and racial grounds,” the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR) said. Her son, Arsene Shalom Ntahobali, a militia leader who was jointly charged in the case, was also convicted Friday of genocide, crimes against humanity including rape and persecution and war crimes, and sentenced to life in prison.

Four local officials who were accused alongside Nyiramasuhuko and her son were all found guilty on genocide and other charges. They were handed prison terms ranging from 25 years to life. Nyiramasuhuko, who was arrested in 1997 in Kenya, and taken to the U.N. court in Tanzania to await trial, was found guilty on seven of the counts she faced, ICTR spokesman Roland Amoussouga told CNN.

They included charges of genocide, conspiracy to commit genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity including rape and persecution. The court found that Nyiramasuhuko was a member of the Interim Government that issued directives whose intention “was to encourage the population to hunt down and take action against the ‘enemy’ and its ‘accomplices’; terms which referred to Tutsis in general.”

Nyiramasuhuko also participated in many Cabinet meetings at which the massacre of Tutsis was discussed “and she took part in the decisions that triggered the onslaught of massacres in Butare prefecture.” While Nyiramasuhuko is the only woman to have been convicted by the ICTR, other women have been jailed for their roles in the genocide by courts elsewhere.

Man admits to shooting Tupac in 1994 Shooting

Smh i always knew Jimmy Henchman was not as innocent as he made himself out to be..

A man has admitted to the non-fatal 1994 shooting of Tupac Shakur, claiming he was paid $2,500 to rob the rapper at Manhattan's Quad studio. Dexter Isaac, currently serving a life sentence on unrelated charges, said he was hired by hip-hop manager Jimmy "Henchman" Rosemond to ambush and mug Shakur, setting off three years of reprisals that left Shakur and Notorious BIG dead.

"Jimmy, I say to you: I have kept your secrets for years," Isaac told AllHiphop. "I have stayed silent in prison for the past 13 years, doing a life sentence like a real soldier should, when you and everybody have turned your backs on me ... Now I would like to clear up a few things, because the statute of limitations is over, and no one can be charged, and I'm just plain tired of listening to your lies. In 1994, James Rosemond hired me to rob 2Pac Shakur at the Quad studio. He gave me $2,500, plus all the jewellery I took, except for one ring, which he wanted for himself."

Isaac has spent the past decade behind bars, serving time on a 1998 indictment for murder, robbery, fraud and witness intimidation. He and Rosemond have long been linked with Shakur's robbery, though neither man was ever charged. In 2008, the LA Times published – and later retracted – an article contending that Rosemond and other associates of Sean Combs (AKA Diddy) arranged the attack as payback for Shakur's rejection of Combs's record label. The LA Times ultimately admitted their allegations were based on fabricated FBI reports. But Shakur himself had made these claims before his death. "Promised [to] pay back Jimmy Henchman in due time," he rapped on Against All Odds. "Heard the guns bust, but your tricks never shut me up ... All out warfare, eye for eye."

Now a manager for stars including Sean Kingston and the Game, Rosemond is allegedly on the run. He disappeared in May, amid federal drugs charges, complaining that events had "caught [him] off guard" in a letter to XXL magazine. "I came up from nothing and made some mistakes early in my life, of which I have already served time," he wrote. "Since then I have worked hard to establish my career in the music industry only to be targeted by these opportunistic prosecutors with a personal vendetta against me." Rosemond asserted he was being smeared by scurrilous informants, including Isaac.

Isaac now says it was this allegation that prompted him to come forward about the events of 30 November 1994. "I have never been a rat for anybody," Isaac replied. Instead he alleges that Rosemond himself is a "turncoat rat". "If I was an informant like you, I would've been home years ago with my family," Isaac wrote.

Isaac did not admit to the September 1996 murder of Shakur, and also refused to comment on the March 1997 slaying of his "friend" Notorious BIG. Both these crimes remain unsolved. "But I would like to give their mothers some closure," he wrote. "It's about time that someone did, and I will do so at a different time. Jimmy, you and Puffy like to come off all innocent-like, but as the saying goes: you can fool some of the people some of the time, but you cannot fool all of the people all of the time."

First things first...
I absolutely STAN for this song lol.
I recently found out about Joy Valencia on Twitter (once again..twitter is an amazing thing) I became intrigued when I read in her bio that she's a singer/song-writer so thought me being someone who loves hearing something new and fresh, decided to look her up on YouTube...AND THATS WHERE I HEARD THE SONG...Dont wake the Lion. The different 60's/80's/blondie/vintage/futuristic/enticing /hypnotising feelings this song had to it automatically caught my attention then the lyrics caught my heart, with the catchy verses ''theres a lion in my bed he's looking comfy in my room'' (girl... lol). The song has a sort of beyond musical feel to it.. its almost an artistic fantasy (which can also apply for the playful golden music video)
I honestly am a SUPER fan right now (listened to the other songs), and sincerely wish her all the success in the coming future. You are going to BLOW..and when you do Joy i better have my ticket when you perform here in the UK.

**UK Watch Out For* Kevin Mccall

I must admit as Kevin Mccall is not so big here in the UK, I didn't know much about his music (a couple songs here and there) but not a lot. However one thing I did know for sure was that he was a talented artist, which was enough for me to check out his Un-invited Guest Mixtape...and I must say IF YOU DONT HAVE THIS MIXTAPE..U NEED TO GET IT! I can honestly say there was not a single track I disliked or did not find myself bopping my head to. 
It is very rare to find a mixtape these days that you could listen to whatever mood your in which is what makes Kevin Mccall's Un-invited Guest so special. Songs such as Rest of my life will have you reminiscing/dreaming/regretting about a past love (..lord knows I did) with its beautiful harmonies/lyrics from Mccall and Brown , this is not just a love song in fact its so beautiful its almost poetry with lyrics such as 'No more wakin up to Sunday morning..Now Live to Learn, Learned alot'' and ''its the last time im holding you Rest of my life with you tonight Spendin rest of my life with you tonight''  (he got me with that one). Then on the other hand songs such as '360'' will have you screaming to your haters like ''IMMA BE DAT MUTHAFUCKER''!.. definitely gonna be my theme tune for the summer :).
So all you lot in the UK and (abroad..dont think i dont see you ;-) ) I listed reasons why you should support Kevin Mccal and get His mixtape:

*Watch Out For* Beauty Skool Dropouts

Twitter is such an amazing thing :).
Recently whilst going through my messages, I saw a Message from the girls of BSD with a link to their new video on youtube. Now as someone who ALWAYS receives these kind of messages from artists on twitter I originally had good expectations but not Great, that all changed of course until i heard the Track ''Mr Men'' and all i have to say is...fiyah!!! Not only do i LOVE the song (damn girls got me bopping my head singing ''nice 2 meet u mr men'' all day looking like a crazy woman lol) but I am deffo a Fan!! What I love about the group is that they bring such an Unorthodox,Unique, eclectic sound that is VERY rare these days..ESPECIALLY with girl groups.
Mr Men gives me a ''KICK ASS/BAD BITCH'' vibe (if you get my drift) and the vocals are beautiful (shout out to whoever that was that hard bars too! woii lol)
The most amazing thing though, is that with all their beauty and talent these girls seem to be genuinely humble sweet girls. The group consists of Chang, Sindy and Kimmy for those that were wondering :).

I met Trey Songz! Full Story (this is a long post lol)

With me being such a huge Trey Songz stalker fan, if you had told me a couple months ago that I Bianca Muny a self-proclaimed STAN/Trey Angel was going to be sitting face-2-face in a room with Trey Songz I probably would've  fainted, woke up and slapped you in the face for being a damn liar then probably fainted at the thought again.
So as you can imagine, it came as a shock and suprise when one of my old Tutors from college/mentor/journalist-inspiration the incredibly funny/talented Neil Kulkarni (aka Old asian Bloke as some of you City College students might know him ) came to me and asked me the most beautiful question my precious eyes have ever seen (it was on facebook) ...... ''what would you ask Trey Songz in a interview''..... I. ALMOST. DIED.
Realising that he was probably going to interview Trey Songz, as Kulkarni always interviews different Celebs as a freelance journalist , I dedicated the next week of my life begging persuading him to bring me along as it would be great for my journalistic experience to assist an interview and observe how a professional interview is carried out (all jokes aside, i was actually serious about this..trey songz was just the perk). Neil being the person he is, said he would try his best.
A couple weeks passed by when he confirmed that I could go with him as his student/''intern''...so a couple hours after I screamed like a Horror movie queen at my laptop, I booked a ticket from my university to go back home where I could meet Kulkarni before setting off to good Ol' Birmingham.
When we finally reached the venue, I realised it hadn't hit me that im about to meet Trey Songz, mr steal your girl, the man i've been a fan of since 'Gynia Boy' (that used 2 be my SH!T), I had spent too much time that day caking on makeup (which was atrocious btw...i cringe everytime i look at my pic that day what was i thinking), trying to fix the MONSTEROUS weave that had been on my head too long (would've taken it out& got my hair done had Mr Kulkarni let me know earlier..but nooooo) and finding spanx to cover the weight that i had gained that month from pigging out at university (exams do that to you). All this  kept me soo busy i forgot in a couple hours I would be Face 2 Face with Mr Songz himself.
After many stares from random people probably thinking what an odd couple, me and Kulkarni were led to some room backstage and briefly spoke to one of Mr Songz entourage (he actually had an important role, I just can't remember what it is no disrespect, i was too nervous).
I noticed a lot of people that work with songz are close longtime friends of his which I found admirable, he did not forget the people he grew up with which shows how humble of a person he is.
After  a few quick introductions, me checking myself in the mirror 23234 times, me shaking and wondering how the hell Neil is so laid back and not even nervous (not for himself as he's been doing this for years but for ME as i clearly couldve ruined his interview with my stan-ish ways)..it was finally time to meet Tremaine Songz......Oh god..... We were led to his dressing room (sidenote: Never in my life did i ever think id be able 2 go to his dressing room and not  get arrested/security called on me).
The door Opened.
Had mental thought ''Hope my breath dont smell like what i just ate''
There he was.
Neil introduced himself. then it was my turn
As i walked towards him he smiled..SWEET MERCIFUL MARY MOTHER OF GOD his smile...
This was it. The moment i had been waiting for, all the things i've ever wanted 2 tell Trey here was my opportunity..i opened my mouth and.......
NOTHING! My dumb ass was speechless. He said hi and i wanted to reply with ''nice to meet you I'm bianca'' and all that came out was ''Umm ..Bianca'' (Kill.Me.Now. & Kill me fast)
I quickly went and sat down by the couch he was sitting on and the interview began..you wanna know what i asked him?...NOTHING.  I was too nervous and plus Neil's questions were too amazing in comparison to the amateur one's I had in mind like ''How do you think you've developed as an artist''  (boring..he probably gets asked that all the time)
In the time we spent there, i surprisingly did learn ALOT from the interview about how to PROPERLY interview someone as a music journalist (not all this ''who you dating'' gossip bull-crap) and also the type of person Trey Songs is. He seemed to be very passionate and serious about his music and at the same time a VERY humble down to earth person.
As the interview came to an end, I realised this was my last chance to let him know how big of a fan I was and quickly plucked up the confidence to tell him ''Im a huuuuuuge fa, been rocking with him since gynia boy'', he was thankful and gave me a hug and kiss (on the cheek..left one..oh god i sound like such a creep).
We all briefly talked for a while before me and Kulkarni left to view the concert (Neyo + Trey Songz + Chipmunk..no shade but i only stayed for the Trey Songz performance lord knows i was too tired 2 sit and watch the other two). The show was GREATT!! As expected he is a great performer and great vocalist, i also enjoyed how he interacts with the audience making them feel like he is singing to them personally. Overall I ENJOYED my Trey Songz meet and greet :), It was refreshing to meet an established artist such as Trey Songz that was soo sweet,humble and down to earth. Although I should have been more proffessional as this was a Job, I' m quite proud of myself for not Freaking out and actually gaining new skills. Wish Mr Songz all the best in the future and if you havent been to any of his shows i'd recommend it..not just cause im a fan ;-) Thanks Neil Kulkarni for letting me have this experience.

A lil African Positivity: Rwandan U-17 Football team qualify for World Cup

The Rwandan U-17 Football team have shocked the nation and qualified for the World Cup, being the first Rwandan football team to qualify for the world cup.
The recent positive  news of this is such a breath of fresh air for the country usually in the media for the tragic 1994 genocide, its nice to see my country in the news for a positive more upbeat story.
I will definitely be watching and supporting... GO RWANDA!!!
